Building a Bright Future with the Staffordshire Alliance
The Stafford Area Improvements Programme is a £250 million programme of works in and around the Stafford area, designed to increase capacity on the busy West Coast Main Line, by removing its last major bottleneck at Norton Bridge. Including the construction of a new flyover and 6 miles of new railway at Norton Bridge which was commissioned in May 2016.

The Staffordshire Alliance is a partnership of 4 companies - Atkins, Laing O’Rourke, Network Rail and Volkerrail - working together under one collaborative contract. I worked closely with The Alliance to bring about employment and Legacy schemes -
