Work Undertaken

Other Work
By combining my professional skills and experience, I have been able to get involved with many different groups over the years, from starting the Broughton and Croxton village fete in 2002 through to being involved with the Eccleshall Eagles Junior Football Club (from 2008).

I have a deep passion for Sport and was involved in putting on a set of Olympic Legacy events in 2013 and have been involved with Sport Stafford Borough since 2011.
I have been an elected representative for the area since 2001 firstly on Eccleshall Parish Council (- until the May 2011 elections) and then on Stafford Borough Council (from May 2011), representing the communities of Adbaston, Chebsey and Norton Bridge, Eccleshall and Slindon and Standon and Cotes Heath and all the areas that lie amongst and between them. The communities are quite diverse and yet strangely there is a commonality to them and their people.

There is an innate beauty to the area and its people, which should be celebrated and nurtured.

I have sought to champion the issues and concerns that affect local people, as varied as they are - from inappropriate planning, dog fouling and concerns over housing through to pushing for more local facilities, greater work for local firms and training and apprenticeships for local young people straight out of college. Some of the projects that I have been involved with have affected a small number of people, right the way through to ground breaking - please feel free to browse some of them.
